Two of this year's IMO team, Anthony Morris of Sydney Boys High School, and Giles Gardam, of Hurlstone Agricultural High School, have been honoured as top scorers in the 2007 New South Wales HSC examination.

Anthony has topped Mathematics Extension 1, while Giles has topped Mathematics Extension 2. Earlier in the year both won Bronze Medals for Australia at the International Mathematical Olympiad, held in Hanoi, Vietnam. (Results see here.)
