Are you a former AMC Medallist?
Success in mathematics is widely regarded as an important gate keeper
for many courses and occupations. But does acknowledged success in mathematics at school
influence subsequent educational and career paths? Are those with talent for mathematics
attracted to a mathematics intensive field or are they more likely to pursue degrees
in information or biological sciences?
We hope to gain enough information from Australian
Mathematics Competition medallists to answer these questions and to identify factors
which nurture talent and facilitate personal development.
If you are a former medallist we would appreciate it if you could click
here and spend just
a few minutes completing and returning the form as shown on it.
