This year's Australian Informatics Competition, held on Tuesday 06 May,
attracted over 4,300 entries, an increase of about 30% over 2009. Last year there were no perfect scores but
this year there were many
among these entries in this multichoice and short answer competition, which does not use
computer programming but can identify aptitude for it.
Each student was given 6 multi-choice questions and 9 questions whose solutions are integers bewteen 0 and 999 for
optical reading and computer marking.
