This year's Australian Informatics Competition, held on Tuesday 07 May, attracted over 3,200 entries. There were no perfect scores of 36 among these entries in this multichoice and short answer competition, which does not use computer programming but can identify aptitude for it.

Each student was given 6 multi-choice questions and 9 questions whose solutions are integers bewteen 0 and 999 for optical reading and computer marking.
